International Business & Finance

The goal of the International Business and Finance Academy at John A. Ferguson Senior High is to improve overall student academic achievement, increase academic rigor, enhance the school climate and create a personalized environment for learning and teaching. The program of study focuses on broad transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the elements in the international business and finance industries. Students graduating from the International Business and Finance Academy emerge with integrity and evolve into lifelong learners able to succeed in a competitive, ever-changing global economy.

Curriculum

The curriculum enables students to connect school learningwith post-secondary educational plans andfuture goals by using a multidisciplinary approach to teaching where constant emphasis is placed on real-world application. Minimum guidelines for acceptance include: Completion of the application, high motivation with a personal commitment to the program, and a completed application delivered in person to Ferguson Senior High.
