Medical & Biomedical Academy at John A. Ferguson Sr.
The Medical skills and Biomedical Academy is designed to provide students with a challenging curriculum consisting of both academic and vocational specific courses that utilize an innovative approach to developing the foundational skills necessary to pursue career opportunities in health care, health and fitness, early childhood education, and agriscience.
Students are actively engaged in the learning process, which is facilitated via interactive lectures and activities, and experiential learning, whereby the skills acquired in the classroom are applied in a supervised industry specific setting.
Some industry specific certifications and/or licenses are also available if students qualify and pass the required exams.
