About
the Curriculum
|
The Foreign
Language department has put in place various language courses and programs to better serve the Academy Models present in our school. We have implemented courses from the basic, exploratory levels to Advance Placement, where an emphasis in literature and culture abounds.We are currently offering programs in Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Russian. We have plans to add Mandarin Chinese for the 2008-2009 school year.

Goals

Our departmental goals are articulated with Academy guidelines, and support our School Improvement Plan and the High Schools that work program. Students will become better, life-long learners by being exposed to other cultures and languages.
